Venus Rising Pinot Noir - 96 Points
From the Coal River Valley, equal portions of clones 777, D2V6 and 115, wild-fermented with 20% whole bunches, matured for 10 months in oak (22% new). Attractive wine, which opens quietly, then rapid and major development of plum/dark cherry fruit on the long palate.

Charlotte's Elusion Riesling - 92 Points
From the family vineyard in the Derwent Valley, picked 6 and 12 Apr, 50% of the final volume given 6 hours skin contact before pressing and 20% was wild-fermented, the balance with a neutral yeast. It's not clear to me what the aim was.
