Quiet Mutiny Venus Rising Pinot Noir 2022 - 93 Points
"A vibrant Coal River pinot noir from Greer Carland that offers up just the right amount of gamey, bunchy nuance flittering above a base of cherry, wild strawberry and cranberry fruit notes. There is some wild-eyed, souk-like spice in action here along with gentle amaro notes, forest floor, shiitake broth and earthy tones. With an impressive minerally drive and a spacious, airy demeanor, it makes for great savoury drinking."
Quiet Mutiny Venus Rising Syrah 2022 - 93 Points
"Tasmanian syrah was a revelation for me in last year's tastings, all mid-weighted detail with pepper and spice highlights and impressive fruit purity. Here it is syrah from the Derwent Valley, purple-splashed in the glass with vibrant characters of ripe satsuma plum, boysenberry and mulberry cut with exotic spice, black pepper, game meats, amaro herbs and a purple floral flourish. It's at the lighter end of medium bodied and sports a lovely minerally energy and savoury palate flow."
Quiet Mutiny Charlotte's Elusion Riesling 2022 - 90 Points
"An expressive and expansive Tasmanian riesling that shows ripe lime, green apple and grapefruit notes with hints of white flowers, stone, soft spice, crème fraîche and some lighter, more exotic guava and papaya notes speaking softly in the background. There is a nice dry, savoury palate shape with a swish of lemon curd and bright apple fruits on the finish."
